  my command sergeant major called me in to his office today...asked me if i liked fort jackson...i'm being assigned (in october) to the noncommissioned officer academy as a small group leader for the advanced noncommissioned officer's course (ancoc) that's the course you have to take when you make sergeant first class (e-7), the one i just graduated from.

  i've only been in this job since 1 may.

  guess i'm locked into post for another two years.

  Here in oz a lot of guys when they leave the army after a long time in service, go into either the prisons system as guards or into security jobs. Is it the same over there? My brothers a screw at Silverwater jail, he was in the army 15 years, about.

  Winston. I dont know how much reading of Russells "Scripture studies" you have done, if any, but might I recommend Volume 3 -"thy Kingdom come" chapter "The Work of Harvest" pages 140 thru 150 and 180 thru 190 to you? Im sure you would find it most interesting reading demonstrating Russells view of organized religion and its evil tendancies.

  I dont like some of the views the American government seems to hold. I think they are a scary bunch. A bunch of Zealots who think they have a holy mandate to save the world.The kind of Zealots that feel justified in nuking people.Theyve already done it.Theres no doubt in my mind they are as dangerous minded as any Al Quida terrorist. Both think theyre on a mission from God. I think the American masses are prone to self righteousness and easily triggered by internal propaganda. Moreso than average. I think in a standup fight with equal forces the Yanks would get their asses booted like they did in the Nam. It took them 20 years to stop weeping over Vietnam.Theyre very emotional people and easily triggered by internal propaganda, like I said.

  Sweeping generalizations, I know, but thats how I view it.

  Not to say there are not many yanks here I am fond of.
